ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 2, 2024) Art has a remarkable ability to bring people together, transform communities, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of identity and pride. Thanks to you, Quad City Arts has been dedicated to creating an art-centric community for over 50 years.

We empower local artists and provide accessible artistic experiences to over 300,000 community members in our region through public events, performances, public art, educational outreach, gallery exhibits, and grant opportunities. These programs and services are only possible through the generous support of individuals like you who share our vision. At this time of year, your contribution to the arts can have an even BIGGER impact when you donate through Birdies for Charity. With Birdies for Charity, Quad City Arts receives 100% of your donation PLUS a guaranteed bonus of five to ten percent.

In 2024, Quad City Arts is piloting two programs focused on supporting our local artists, a Local Artist Mentorship Program and Project LAB. The mentorship program places a local performing artist with a consultant to help them adapt their style to engage young audiences, learn more about how an educational component can assist with touring outside of the Quad Cities, and allow them the opportunity to perform at a partner organization in other states.

Project LAB (Learning Arts Business) is a partnership with the Creative Empowerment Initiative. Project LAB will create an opportunity for artists to learn the business of the arts to take them to the next level. Allowing artists to increase their knowledge and skills in areas including financial literacy, legal obligations, marketing, and more.

Help us build on our legacy of promoting and sustaining the arts in our community by supporting these pilot programs through Birdies for Charity. Please consider a pledge to Quad City Arts in the amount of $100 so we can continue to foster a thriving arts community for generations to come. (Please donate by June 26.)

On behalf of the artists, the board of directors and the staff at the Quad City Arts, thank you for your generosity in support of our mission. We hope to see you at our events!
