BETTENDORF, IOWA (May 15, 2024) — Quad Citizens are encouraged to ride their bicycle to the office Friday, May 17, on National Bike to Work Day.

The Rock Island Downtown Alliance and Quad Cities Bicycle Club are hosting a free breakfast for bicycle commuters 6-10AM, Friday, at Schwiebert Riverfront Park. Participants will be treated to breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and coffee from Theo’s Java Café right off the Great River Trail at the entrance to the park.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 8, 2024) — On Wednesday, May 8, at Vibrant Arena at The Mark, 1201 River Dr., Moline, 66 high-school students from throughout the QC will sign to express their commitment to becoming apprentices at twenty employers in six different fields of work. Much like a sports-signing day, each student will sign their apprenticeship intention with their future employer.
